We aim to further develop and revitalize iRIC activities, thereby promoting the advancement of hydraulic engineering technology and contributing to its effective utilization.
iRIC (International River Interface Cooperative) was initiated in 2007 by Professor Yasuyuki Shimizu (Hokkaido University) and Dr. Jon Nelson (USGS). Focusing on numerical simulation in hydraulic engineering fields including rivers, it carries out various technology development and information dissemination activities.
